About IAP
International Advisory Partners is the London based hub of the IAP group.
Founded by James Winterbotham in 1998 after a career at the Lazard investment banking group in London, Paris and New Delhi, IAP is focused on assisting companies to develop their business models across the South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa regions.
Transactions range from acquisitions and disposals to the establishment of joint ventures, assistance in planning and developing greenfield plans and new business development, combining expertise in transaction execution with deep market and sector knowledge.
We were also instrumental in the establishment of a UK based asset management company and the launch of an AIM listed India small cap fund, and we continue to enjoy close links with the investment and private equity communities
We have worked across a broad range of sectors with a particular focus on manufacturing.
The IAP Network
IAP has over the years built up a network of relationships with advisory firms and individuals based across Europe and emerging markets who share a common approach to doing business and long experience in cross border transactions.
We are particularly strong in South Asia and Sub Saharan African, where members have undertaken a wide range of different transactions, but have also done business in Germany, Italy, the USA, Hong Kong and Singapore.
